What does “steals” mean here ? Is it a case of attribution missing or, did the photograph had an explicit no commercial usage without permission license ?
The original photo is posted on flickr as “© All rights reserved”, so there are two things at work:
- copyright infringement
- unauthorised use of someone image (no model release forms)
What can I say? i already hear “cha-ching!” if the company is hit with lawsuits by the photographer and the model.
oh, now i see the comments on flickr, it used to be a CC NC license, the copyright infringement still stay, this is the very definition of commercial use.
