@it-mutant: Thanks, I mailed the Ubuntu package maintainer, but no reply yet:( It is still in Gtk only, previously I was using PyGtk (aka python as language ), now I am using vala as programming language ie. pure Gtk using C :)

Ok, I can test it and post results in my blog. When I can see this release in Ubuntu repo? Why you port this to vala from GTK?

@Aanjhan – as far as I know he rewrote in Vala because he could :) (and, he wanted to learn Vala while at it but that’s purely collateral profit)

Just a small question, did you port this to vala just a learning experience to try vala or is there some other reason too. It’d be great if you could write a small post about your vala experience, as use of vala is quite less afaik, and i guess many would like to know more about it from a first hand experience
