lekhonee-gnome 0.9.1 is released
I am happy to announce the release of lekhonee-gnome 0.9.1 . You can download the source or check for koji builds for F12 or F13. New features are like:
- Supports multiple WordPress accounts
- Tabbed UI for different modes
- Now supports adding <br> tag using tool button
- Preview mode (more details on this below)
- Advertisement message is disabled for this release
- Stopped segfault(s) in couple of corner cases
- Supports <video> and <audio> tags in Visual and preview mode (you may have to write the details in HTML mode)
- Can watch youtube videos in Preview mode (not an actual feature :p )
So the main two new features are multiple account handling and Preview mode. In the preview mode you can see how the post will look like in your blog with the theme you are having. To fetch the blog style please click on the small download style/theme button in the toolbar (this button will only come in the toolbar if you don’t have cached theme downloaded in your system), though you need internet connection for this mode to work.
Summer training 2009
You can find the wiki page here. This year we want to make groups such that there are two students in a group and make them work on any upstream project or a new project. They should start the work of finding the project ideas within first two weeks of the program. Comments/suggestions are welcome.
We have added a few buzz words in the poster to attract students. Generally students prefer to go to different small institutions to do summer project where most of the times they pay a good amount to get a certificate. Trying to change the situation slowly.
Thanks to Nicu for the poster.
Some updates
Took some nice vacation from IRC in the last week. Now back on track again. In the current todo list:
- Implementing the Jukebox ideas
- Work on more PyQt videos
Also found the third eye: Can you find me in that ?
This FUDCon rests in peace
The words are already out. Yes, it is true, the FUDCon got canceled. But you can still meet us there. We can talk on some wounderful projects and ideas which we can implement.
Feel free to join us, in our laptops we will have LiveUSB stations , so if you bring your USB key , we can turn it into a magical USB key which will contain a full operating system.
Just remember to keep contributing in which ever form you can :)
